My lawyer said they filed my immigrant petition and still waiting to receive the receipt of notice. How long from the time of filing does it take for the release of receipt of notice? Does it take a month of waiting for the receipt of notice alone? Or do you get it as soon as you filed for petition? Thanks to all who will care to respond.
